Chicago's March Racing Events

March brings warmer weather (at least it says "Spring begins" on my calendar), St. Patrick's Day, and, this year, Easter. As you will see below, there are some festive runs celebrating the leprechaun and the bunny! In addition, there is an indoor triathlon, a climb, a polar plunge, and runs of varied distances. The East Bank Club's triathlon caught my eye with its unique setup: each participant swims, bikes, and runs an allotted amount of time (15, 20, and 20 minutes, respectively) and is scored on the distance completed, rather than completing a specified distance for each leg and seeing who comes in first. While you are checking out the events, be sure to visit the event beneficiaries online to learn more about each. Enjoy the warm weather!
