Clarke House Museum Rings In 2016 With New Tour Schedule

Chicago's Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE) has announced a new tour schedule, beginning in January 2016, for the Clarke House Museum, Chicago's oldest surviving home. Built in 1836 for the Henry Brown Clarke family at what is now approximately 1700 South Michigan Avenue, the house is currently located at 1827 South Indiana Avenue.

To make a reservation, please email rsvp@cityofchicago.org. Beginning January 13, tours will be offered on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. The one-hour guided tours are limited to 15 people on a first-come, first-served basis. For groups of five or more, please email rsvp@cityofchicago.org. DCASE indicates this schedule is for January and February.
